FISHING

Lake Bonavista Homeowners Association holds a commercial license that permits members to fish at the lake. 

The lake is stocked twice a year (Spring and Fall) with mostly Rainbow Trout. We have also stocked Brown, Brook and Tiger Trout. 

Year - Round Rules

• No live bait!
• No cleaning of fish permitted on the LBHA property!
• Only barbless hooks are to be used.
• Currently, households may keep two fish per month excluding Tiger & Brown Trout!
• Fishing closes 15 minutes prior to the park closing. 
• Anglers must report to the guard house before leaving the park.

• One hole limit!
• Fishers must remain within 150 feet of the east side of the island ONLY!  All other areas are out of bounds until we can set skating tracks! 
• Keep away from any cleared ice surfaces!

• Fishing is NOT permitted southeast of an imaginary line drawn between the northwest corner of the Inn and the large rock in the water west of the falls. 
• ABSOLUTELY NO FISHING OFF THE BEACHES, WATERFALLS,  OR DOCKS!
• Fishing is restricted to the Park area, or in the case of lake shore lots, owners may fish from their own property.
