Lake Bonavista Homeowners Association Ltd. is a private park in the community of Lake Bonavista and accessible by membership only! Homeowners MUST have our Encumbrance listed on their land title to qualify for membership. Membership is mandatory for all LBHA Encumbrance properties!
Once you have taken possession of your new home, received your land title, and updated your government issued photo ID, you may apply for your LBHA membership(s).
Please Note
- There are no exceptions to the land title and photo ID requirements! If you do not provide the title with your initial application, you must provide it within 3 months of obtaining membership. If you fail to do so, your membership will be locked and park access denied for all account members until the title is received and on file.

Property Exclusions:
- Bonavista Downs residents and Condo residents are not eligible for membership!
- Secondary suites residents are also not eligible for membership!
Traditional Membership Application Process:
- Apply at the Lake Office, no appointment required.
- Homeowners must complete a membership application.
- There is a one-time "New Property Owner Fee" of $100.00 required to process new membership applications. This fee is due before memberships are issued and park access granted.
- Any outstanding fees MUST be paid in full before membership cards will be issued!
- Must be the land title holder/homeowner of a qualifying Lake Bonavista address!
- Homeowners must provide a copy of the land title and corresponding government issued photo ID to confirm and retain membership.
- You may apply for membership without your land title, BUT if it is not provided within 3 months of obtaining membership, your membership will be locked and park access denied for all members on the account until the title is received and on file.
- Corresponding government issued photo ID must also be provided for all eligible 21+ members. See eligibility requirements below.
- Homeowner's children MUST reside at the title address!
- All approved applicants MUST have photos taken for membership cards to be issued.
Traditional Membership Eligibility Requirements:
- MUST be a homeowner with our LBHA encumbrance listed on the land title!
- Be a spouse or common-law partner of a title holder/homeowner
- Be the unmarried children of a title holder/homeowner
- Be a parent of a title holder/homeowner (limit of one per household)
- The encumbrance property MUST be the primary residence of all 21+ eligible applicants AND they must provide corresponding government issued photo ID for confirmation upon registration and annually thereafter!
- Land title MUST be provided within 3 months to avoid interruption to park access!
Associate Membership

Renter Memberships:
- For renters to qualify for membership, homeowners must give up their own access AND complete a Renter/Lease Info & Park Access Consent form to be kept on file.
- In addition to the above form, renters MUST provide government issued photo ID confirming the encumbrance address before membership will be approved and cards issued.
- A renewed Renter/Lease Info & Park Access Consent form and Renter(s) corresponding photo ID is required annually to renew renter membership(s).
- Primary/Senior renter membership is based on the number of homeowners on title. Maximum of two Senior Renter members per household.
Lost or Damaged Membership Cards:
- Replacement cards are issued at the lake office.
- Proper government issued ID must be provided when required.
- A $5.00 fee will be charged for replacement of cards issued within the last 5 years.
- Card replacement is free for cards issued more than 5 years ago.
