The Bonavista Room is located inside the Lakehouse and includes:

• Tables and chairs for 50 people
• Full size fridge
• Double sink
• Microwave
• Coffeemaker
• Kettle
• Skate flooring throughout

The following list of policies applies:

• Requests may be submitted no more than two months in advance and no later than 72 hours prior.
• Bonavista room rentals maybe booked from 9am up to one hour before park closure.
• During the month of November, the Bonavista room is only available to be booked from 9am to 4pm.
• Please note, park closing hours are subject to change with short notice due to extreme weather.
• There is a minimum two-hour rental commitment!
• The rental rate is $50 per hour plus GST. 
• Payment must be received within 48 hours of submitting a request to confirm the booking.
• ONLY Homeowners/Senior Members may book the Bonavista Room!
• A group activity form MUST be completed and ALL policies agreed to in order to request a booking. Click here to access and download forms!
• Group total must NOT exceed 50 people (group total = members & guests combined)
• Guest lists must be emailed to lbha@lkbonavista.ca no later than 72 hours prior to the event date.
• Guests may leave the Bonavista Room and visit other areas of the park, but the event set-up, chairs, tables, decorations, and coolers etc. MUST remain in the Bonavista Room!
• Tennis/Pickleball court use is not extended to groups.

The Niven area is the only outdoor area in the park that can be reserved! *ALL remaining areas are available on a first come first served basis!

The Niven area is located to the east of the main building and includes:

• Coal burning BBQ's (bring your own coal)
• A gazebo with tables
• Other picnic tables within the same area.
• Power is not available.
• Members may bring their own Propane BBQ (staff cannot assist)

The following policies apply:

• Niven bookings are only available from April - October as this area is not maintained after snow arrives!
• Requests may be submitted up to two months in advance and no later than 72 hours prior.
• There is a limit of one Niven bookings per day!
• Payment must be received within 48 hours of submitting a request to confirm the booking.
• ONLY Homeowners/Senior Members may book the Niven Area!
• Multiple bookings for the same household are NOT permitted during the peak months of June, July, and August!
• A group activity form MUST be completed and ALL policies agreed to in order to request a booking.
• Bookings may start NO earlier than 9am and MUST end 60 minutes prior to the park closing! FYI Park closing hours fluctuate throughout the year! 
• No holds! The Niven area is very popular! Please refrain from booking the area if you are not committed to using it! Members found abusing the booking process may be prohibited from booking in the future.
• Rescheduling - Rescheduling is subject to availability.
• Guest lists must not exceed 50 non-member guests! However, additional LBHA members are welcome to join your group.
• Guest lists must be emailed to lbha@lkbonavista.ca no later than 72 hours prior to the event date.
• Guests may leave the Niven site and visit other areas of the park, but your event set-up, chairs, barbeques, and coolers etc. MUST remain in the Niven area! 
• Tennis/Pickleball court use is not extended to groups.

• Main Park bookings are available FREE of charge!
• ONLY Senior Members may request Main Park bookings!
• Multiple bookings for the same household are NOT permitted during the peak months of June, July, and August!
• Members may NOT request bookings 2 consecutive days in a row regardless of time of year! 
• A group activity form MUST be completed and ALL policies agreed to in order to request a booking.
• There is a limit of one Main Park booking in the park per day!
• Bookings may start NO earlier than 9am and MUST end 30 minutes prior to the park closing! FYI Park closing hours fluctuate throughout the year! 
• While there is a limit of one Main Park booking in the park per day, we still require a definitive booking time that your group will be using the park for operational reasons. Blanket booking times of open to close will not be accepted!
• No holds! Park bookings are very popular! Please refrain from requesting a booking if you are not committed to using it! Members found abusing the booking process may be prohibited from booking in the future.
• Cancellations - Please try to provide as much notice as possible when cancelling so that other members may request a booking especially during peak season!
• Guest must not exceed 25 non-member guests!
• Guest lists must be emailed to lbha@lkbonavista.ca no later than 72 hours prior to the event date.

*All areas outside Niven are available on a first come first served basis!  

This booking option is available for hosting photography sessions 

i.e., family, wedding, and graduation.

• Photo session should NOT run longer than 2 hours.
• Photography session bookings are available FREE of charge!
• ONLY Senior Members may request Main Park bookings!
• A group activity form MUST be completed and ALL policies agreed to in order to request a booking.
• Guest total MUST not exceed 25 (total = members & guests combined)!
• Guest lists must be emailed to lbha@lkbonavista.ca no later than 72 hours prior to the event date.

*Members who are professional photographers are NOT permitted to bring clients to the park for sessions as the LBHA does NOT permit commercial business to be conducted on the property!
