Lake Bonavista Homeowners Association Ltd. is a private park in the community of Lake Bonavista, accessible by membership only!
- To be a member of the LBHA, our Encumbrance MUST be listed on your land title, AND all eligible members MUST reside at the corresponding Lake Bonavista address!
- Membership is mandatory for all LBHA Encumbrance properties!
Once you have taken possession of your new home and received your land title, you may apply for your LBHA membership(s).
Property Exclusions:
- Bonavista Downs residents and Condo residents are not eligible for membership!
- Secondary suites residents are also not eligible for membership!
Traditional Membership Application Process:
- Apply at the Lake Office, no appointment required.
- Must be the land title holder of a qualifying Lake Bonavista address!
- Must provide a copy of the land title and corresponding photo ID!
- Must provide corresponding photo ID for all eligible 18+ members. See eligibility requirements below.
- Photo ID must be government issued!
- ALL applicants MUST reside at the title address!
- Homeowners must complete a membership application.
- All approved applicants MUST have photos taken for membership cards.
Please Note
- If you do not yet have your land title you will need to wait until you receive it before you can apply for your LBHA membership(s).
- Any outstanding fees MUST be paid in full before membership cards will be issued!
Traditional Membership Eligibility Requirements
- MUST be a homeowner with our LBHA encumbrance listed on the land title!
- The encumbrance property MUST be your primary residence!
- Be a spouse or common-law partner of a title holder/homeowner
- Be the children of a title holder/homeowner
- Be a parent of a title holder/homeowner (limit of one per household)
- Be a renter living in the home *AND the homeowner gives up their access!
- ALL 18+ eligible applicants MUST reside in the home AND provide government issued photo ID for confirmation!
Associate Membership
- For those who are not eligible for Traditional Membership, click here for information on our Associate Membership option!
Renter Memberships:
- For renters to qualify for membership, homeowners must give up their own access AND provide written consent to be kept on file.
- In addition to homeowner consent, renters must provide a copy of their lease AND government issued photo ID confirming the encumbrance address before membership will be approved and cards issued.
- Primary renter memberships based on number of homeowners on title (maximum of 2).
Lost or Damaged Membership Cards:
- Replacement cards are issued at the lake office.
- Proper government issued ID must be provided when required.
- A $5.00 fee will be charged for replacement of cards issued within the last 5 years.
- Card replacement is free for cards issued more than 5 years ago.
