Dear Lake Bonavista Homeowners:

Notice of the 2026 Special General Meeting

Saturday, January 10th, 2026 @ 10:00 A.M.

In-Person at Sam Livingston School – Gymnasium

Should quorum not be met on January 10th, a second meeting will be held at the same time and place on January 17th.

Notice of the LBHA 2026 Special General Meeting (SGM) was distributed on December 12, 2025, via email (to Members with a valid email on file) or by physical mail (for those without an email on file or who have opted out of email notice). Please refer to your complete SGM Package for the Agenda, Special Resolutions, and Voting Instructions.

The current Articles of Association and the Blacklined Articles of Association are available below for review prior to the SGM. Members will be asked to vote on five Special Resolutions. The details of each resolution—including the proposed changes and supporting rationale—are included in the SGM Package.

Participation in the Special General Meeting

Members are requested to support the governance of the Association by either:

• attending the Special General Meeting in person, or
• designating another LBHA Member as their Proxy by completing: 
  • Online Proxy Form (Recommended)
  • Paper Proxy Form
    • Download and Print
    • Included in the SGM Package
    • Available from the LBHA office or Security

Approximately 800 Members voted at the AGM last October, about 500 by proxy and 300 in person. We expect a similar turnout for the SGM. To help streamline the process, we are introducing an optional Ballot on the Proxy Form (paper and electronic). 

All proxy forms must be completed and submitted to the office 48hrs in advance (Thursday, January 8th, at 10am).
